Tour Name - Mystic Ampawa
In search of a day trip away from Bangkok? Book a boat tour to Ampawa district in Samut Songkhram province with our e-Concierge Service and leave the rest to us.
This full day eco-tour off the Gulf of Thailand begins with a leisurely cruise down the Mae Khlong River in western Thailand, where visitors can witness locals going about their daily lives. As the longtail boat cruises out into the Gulf of Thailand, visitors will learn about the local ecology of the mangrove forest, feed bananas to a troop of hungry monkeys, plant mangrove trees, or even try their hand at mud-boarding!
Before long, you'll be taken to your own private "krateng", a bamboo house on stilts, originally used by locals to guard their aquatic farms where an alfresco lunch awaits.
Price: US$250/person. Includes two-way transportation with driver, boat tour, English-speaking guide and lunch with one bottle of wine for two. Side trips to a local market, a salt farm or a coconut sugar factory can be arranged with no additional charge.

This easy-going trip to Salaya in Nakhon Pathom province is perfect for those wanting to get to see suburban Thailand and learn about their way of life.
On this tour, visitors will travel on the only mode of transportation available to Thais in the olden days - a wooden boat. Your guide/oarsman will take you to a local lotus farm where you can admire the flowers and if you wish, handpick the flowers yourself and take them home for 1 baht each.
You will get to visit a local housewives’ community where you’ll see how preserved eggs, khao tan and air-cured mangoes and bananas are made before stopping off at a local orchid farm.
The trip ends with a ride on an e-tan (a farmer’s truck) past a fruit orchard and rice paddy where lunch alfresco will be served.
